EDNA MORRIS PORTRAITS

I know a leader can combine drive, brains & determination with a heart that is respectful. In my early 20’s, I had an experience that was profound for me as a leader. A good reminder to continue to be true to who I am & to combine good business judgement with respectful humanity. A story that may seem small yet had a huge impact on how I approached business situations and individuals…

KELLI VALADE PORTRAITS // DALLAS

What helps me is how much I prepare.....despite the stress dream getting the best of me, I am always really prepared and have my speech almost memorized. My first “real job” was working behind the soda fountain bar at Howard Johnson’s off I-84 in Connecticut. Ironic since I spent 27 years at The Coca-Cola Company!  I was responsible for serving the truck drivers as they came off the highway and I learned how to make a variety of fantastic ice cream sundaes! But I also learned the lesson of really hard work, dealing with difficult people, and the importance of understanding and prioritizing customers’ needs and providing great customer experience.
