Safe to say, a pandemic is something you never really plan for. Especially when you have booked 5 store openings in NYC in 2020 and are brought on to tell the story of KKD New York Market entry. I am proud of the work my team has done during the most trying year in our careers. Like many in our industry, we faced challenges such as large events & conferences being cancelled overnight with no sign of rescheduling in sight and limited to no access to crucial store openings that had been planned for well over a year.

I love my city, and the more I travel the more I realise what an amazing city it is! I spent most of my life in Barcelona but always traveling at least one month per year. In December last year it hit me that February 2020 would be 10 years from quitting my job in CA, starting my business and moving away. A decade that flew by. From buying a camera and setting out on a quest to meet new people, learn their stories and share them. I craved the connection that I didn’t have growing up. I was done sitting around waiting for it to just happen. I went after it.
